We are getting so many requests in world to spin at Woods that we have had to create a new policy
that will work for everyone, and allow for everyone to have equal access. The following is our new
DJ application process.

Please note we do not pay Djs to spin at Wood, Djs do however take 100% of their tips.
We do not have any regular sets available at this time, if you are invited to spin (after your trail) it will
be booked on a week to week basis, you may contact us or we will contact you.

PLEASE FOLLOW THE APPLICATION PROCESS BELOW, ONLY CONTACT US IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROCESS.

We are serious about good music.  If you want be a Dj spinning at Woods, you have to be serious
about what you're doing. Woods is about bringing great house music to Second Life.  This is not a
game to us and we expect that same commitment from all our Djs and staff. Many of the Djs spinning
at Woods are real life Dj's and Producers.  We are only interested in Dj's who are 100% serious about
their craft. You do not have to be a popular Dj, you just need to be skilled at mixing and know your music.
Do not apply if you don't have experience!

Follow the steps below to upload your mp3 and apply to spin at Woods:

1. Send Phreak Lemmon an InWorld Notecard with  3 tracks names + artists. He'll pick one you'll have to begin your demo with.
2. After Phreak Lemmon told you what track to start your demo with, record a 30 minute mix in mp3 format
(at least 128 kbs, shorter than 25 minutes will be denied)
3. Name the mp3 file using your FULL Second Life name/day/month/year  (example: EzioGears_03_11_2008.mp3)
4. Go to http://www.mediafire.com

-- Password: club12                  (This is NOT the same password as for the e-mail account)
- Click Upload Your to MediaFire and load your mix following the instructions
- DO NOT CREATE A NEW FOLDER. Please upload your demo in the MAIN FOLDER.

Send an in world note card renamed with your full SL name and list your questions, he will answer them and send it back to you.

Our Resident DJs/Music Managers/Owners will listen to your demo and decide if you'll be invited to do a live 'Trial Set'
at the club during opening hours. You will be contacted about if we will or will not invite you.
After this "Trial Set" we will decide if you can spin at Woods on a regular basis.

Some reasons why we may not invite you for a 'Trial Set' are:
- You need to improve your mixing skills
- The Music genre you play doesn't fit in our club

If your mix has been declined, it doesn't mean you can never spin at Woods. We will tell you what to improve,
so you can work on that. You can submit another Mix later when you think you have improved those things we told you to work on.

Please do not delete other Dj's mixes, change account settings etc. Leave the MediaFire account intact as it is,
don't use it to express you anger after being declined as you won't hurt us with it, but you will hurt other Dj's.
Just use it to upload your Mix and don't be afraid to get some constructive criticism.

- Disco House

- Vocal House

Music we do NOT want to hear at Woods?

- Other music genres (if you are not sure, contact Phreak Lemmon)
- Commercial house tracks (I think we've all heard 'God is a DJ' a million times by now) - BE ORIGINAL!
- Trancy tracks
