In some countries, armed dog control officers randomly shoot dogs in crowded streets. If not killed instantly, the dogs end up wounded and left to die. Shooting, drowning, hanging, and electrocution are just some of the ways countries, particularly those ravaged by war, famine or political upheaval, use to control stray dog populations. Not only are these methods barbaric, they prove ineffective as the stray dog numbers continue to increase around the world.

With your help, we can fight the bloodshed. WSPA is already providing much needed mobile clinics fitted with equipment and medical supplies, so dogs receive proper care in rural communities. We're also educating governments and owners on practical solutions like sterilization training and compulsory registration. But as you can imagine, there's so much more to be done.

Resident Dj Vitor Urqhart (Vandalsoob) did it again! As a very known producer from Portugal, he has surprised us many times and made all of us dance in RL and at Woods! Check out the calendar if you'd like to know when he spins at Woods.

This is very good news for the SL community, bringing Real Life exclusively to Second Life and vice versa.
Woods is ready to explore the virtual world further and taking steps into the real one, making SL a more interesting place to logon to. Laureen Korhonen

Laureen Korhonen astounded us with another fantastic set today. As always it was hot, fresh and smelled great! It danced great too..wait that was me.. hard to dance badly when my huddle is controlling my feet though right? So The huddle has a handle on my feet and Laureen's beats have a grip on my ass so naturally the only thing left to do is come out here and make fun of you for missing it. *shaking head* Well what have you got to say for yourself (insert your name here). Well (your name) I am disappointed in you. (Your name again) I think you should tell Laureen that you are sorry right down to the depths of your very soul for missing her set. *Sigh* You feeling silly yet? Good. Gwen Bailey (Legewen)

About a month ago Gwen Bailey laughed at Woods club Photographer (and PR manager) Viticus Goff and said 'Since you are here every week taking my picture I am going to keep getting new head phones so every picture will be new' Since then Gwen has kept her word and gotten many new head phones.. I am going to start posting an updated Gwen collage every week with her new picture folded into the batch so you too can watch the evolution of Gwen's headphones. This Djane has an amazing set of skills and a great sense of humor. Her love for music is at times shadowed by her laughter but a happy Djane makes a happy crowd, does it not? Legewen Bailey is a wonderful Djane whose set is worth showing up for every single time. I can't just sit here all day singing her praises but believe you me, if I had the time, I so would. Come to Woods, dance, laugh,love and be merry for that is what the music is all about. That and really cool rave sticks that you can't use here cause you'll crash the sim and ruin every ones fun. broseph Vaher

Broseph is new to Woods club and though he has only been on for about forty five minutes now I can already hear why he is on deck for us tonight. His set started out on the fun side. He had us kissing girls and liking it, the slid over to bass kicking and from there we were just off the bass junkies feigning for another beat. He gave us said beats over and over again until, exhausted, we call collapsed into a panting pile of party poopers in the middle of the dance floor. (Say that five times fast, I double dog dare ya!) Bass this good, treble this tasty, balance this superb all flavored with heavy beats, bass drum driven vibes...my surround sound is weeping out of pure joy and I have to add that Broseph will be a welcome addition to the Woods club Dj list. If the rest of his set is this good then I have no doubt he will be invited back. Now ya know what they say... if ya like it so much you should put a ring on it.. ha ha... you can't marry a set list silly people.. but you could dance to one at your wedding. Feliche just got done taking us an a musical adventure through time, space and beats. Every note dropped was like another flavorful burst of color, assaulting the mind and drawing us further and further out into the hemisphere. His lyrical fuse was lit, touched off and exploded not once but several times. Showering us in love, the need to dance the gift of sound. Dj Feliche is one in a million and twinkles and shines bright and high in our Woody night time sky. Come check him and all our other fantastic deejays out here at Woods club every single day (except Sundays.. djs n janes gotta sleep..eat..shower.. god they must stink!......well!?! Relax Mills

Relax Mills is on deck at Woods club and currently he is showing us his poker face with the help of Lady Gaga. There is always fun to be had been Relax is on tap. Just pop the top of this dj (plink, there goes his hat) sip and enjoy. Ok.. so this Dj isn't like a cold miller light but he is like the refreshment that comes with a nice cold beer. You wait all day to get home, open your fridge and lose yourself in a six pack..or three. Hey... I paid for it! .. and you want to fade out to good music while have a good time. Hands down, Woods club. Every single time. *Even sober I love this place.. which is saying a lot. Relax Mills @ Woods club hits the spot and I mean that. His beats are always fast, hard, heavy, full and deep. Sounds like fun right? Come get swept away with us here at Woods club. We always have room for one more.
